    • So many wonderful places to see – I will be biased and say I would highly recommend Donegal in the North West. It’s a bit off the beaten track, but all the better for it πŸ™‚

  10. Thanks for following me Siobhan! You are my very welcome, 500th follower. Woohoo! Really nice! I see that we both have an appreciation of trees and nature photography. I look forward to reading more of your blog posts in the future.

Hi Siobhan. I was wondering if you’d like to participate in a Blog Tour? It would mean answering 4 questions and posting them on June 2nd…erm..but I forgot to add that it would also mean asking 3 other bloggers if they’d be willing to answer those same questions and posting their answers a week after yours. I guess it’s a bit like a blog hop (I’m a newbie blogger, so these terms are new to me!). I was told, though, that it’s ok if you don’t garner 3 other bloggers.

    • Hi Vee,
Thanks for thinking of me, I’m relatively new to blogging too and would be happy to take part in the blog tour.
      Siobhan

        Great! Here are the questions:
        1. What am I working on at the moment?

        2. How does my work differ from others (of its genre)?

        3. Why do I write what I do?

        4. How does my writing process work?

If you wouldn’t mind posting your answers on June 2nd? And link to my post when you do? If you have 3 bloggers you’d love to invite, please do! They’ll post their answers a week after yours & link their post to yours (no biggie if this part doesn’t happen).

Sioban, I have been remiss in visiting your blog after your kind like and follow on mine (back on Mother’s Day – thanks for the nice gift :)) Your writing is just wonderful – I have enjoyed reading quite a few of your posts and I love your conversational voice and the ideas you come up with. I have forever been in awe of writers, and love that I can be so easily transported to other places and times and experience so many different emotions, from fear to longing. Your stories that I have read so far have truly “sucked me in,” leaving me wanting more. So I’m glad I have many older posts to look through, and I look forward to your future posts!

  14. I have nominated you for the Versatile Bloggers Award. Please know accepting is optional. http://pluckingofmyheartstrings.com/2014/06/10/versatile-bloggers-award/

Nice to meet you through Friday Fictioneers.- great place, great people. Never been to Ireland but maybe I’ll learn more from your writings and photography. My nephew just finished 4 years of medical school in Cork. Home now looking to get into residency here.

    • Thank you hafong, nice to meet you too πŸ™‚
Best of luck to your nephew, I am full of admiration for those who become doctors – it’s a long journey and a big commitment. I hope he gets a residency that he is happy with
