Today’s letter is M and I have chosen Moss. It is a simple-structured plant that grows in many forms and colours. Bright-coloured moss warns of boggy ground, moss on trees has helped guide travellers since the human race began. Moss is one of the first plants to colonise new ground, taking root in the smallest amount of dirt or dust and laying the foundation of a whole ecosystem.
Moss is among the
simplest of plants but all else
thrives because it’s there
Moss is a great topic for M! Your photos are gorgeous!

I love your photos. I didn’t realize that moss was the basis for an ecosystem. I learned something new today.
